Previous reports have carried out massive studies on the mechanisms of jellyfish blooms by focusing on knowing the ecophysiology characteristic of different stages in their life cycles. However, there have been few researches on the molecular phylogenetic relationship based on mitochondrial genomes among jellyfish species , which was indispensable because of being able to reflect the similarity among species to a certain degree.
